When it comes to automobiles, you can judge a car by its cover! That’s why Cook’s uses state-of-the-art painting systems. Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints.
Cook's Auto Body has made a major investment in SprayBake booth and preps with the Sikkens paint system. Cook’s constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure each vehicle's finish is a perfect match!
The paint mixing area is where each vehicle’s finish is matched. After selecting the correct color, the vehicle is prepared for paint by sanding and applying primer and sealer. After the vehicle paint is complete, it is sent back to the paint mixing area to cool down before going back to the body shop for reassembly.
After painting and applying clear coat, the vehicle is baked to give the paint durability and a high gloss that will last the life of the vehicle. The paint is then inspected and buffed to meet Cook’s high quality standards.
